I feel it in my bones, I feel it in my skin, all of my senses feel it, I feel it in my brain, and I feel it in my heart! The next chapter in my life–what's it about, who is it about, what's life like when you turn 30, where do you go from here, how do you reinvent yourself to always be ahead of the game, how do you keep your creative inspiration juices flowing, how do you know when to take time for yourself, how do you enjoy summer in the south when you are your own boss (not easy with all the super awesome things there are to do), how do you know whether to work 30 days straight without sleeping, how do you know what you are doing is right, how do you know what's wrong and admit it to yourself and fix it to make it right?!? These are the things I feel all around me–all positive feelings–but it's amazing how much the body and mind can feel all at once!
As the 20-30 of us, half of us dressed, some in costume, and some in bathing suits, laugh our way through K-Mart to find ourselves that perfect river float, I think about how good it feels having everyone together and how easy it is to just laugh and not think about anything but the next 8 hours of your day sitting on a raft, drinking as many beers as your cooler will fit and listening to stories and laughing the day away with the most amazing people on the planet.
The time spent on the water with these amazing people is enough to let everything on your mind slip away. Time seems to stand still, and for a brief moment, everything in life becomes clear. No more stress, no more worries, no more what if's, no more excuses. You realize how short life is and how much you should take advantage of every moment, say yes to as many things as you can. It's moments like these that are the driving force letting me know I am on the right path and keeping me going full speed ahead!
Which brings me to this post! Getting ready to launch my website along with my agent, Theresa Martinsons, who is getting ready to launch hers, I can feel it all around, excitement, nervousness, proud, satisfied, anxious, a million different things all at once! But alas, I feel amazing! I am so happy to have made it this far in my career and I am incredibly thankful for everyone of you who have gotten me this far! I freakin' love you! Keep checking back for more updates, blogs, happenings, etc! Rock on!
